تأملات فى آيــة اليوم...
ان أحد طرق رؤيتنا لحياتنا هو النظر إليها كمرحلة انتظار. و عندما يطول الانتظار من غير امل نغضب و نثور و نشعر بالمرارة لما يبدو انه تضييع وقت. طال الوقت او قصر كتابعين ليسوع ، نحن نعيش فى ترقب، منتظرين "رجاؤنا المبارك." و هذا الرجاء راسخ فى وعد يسوع بالعودة و المجئ ثانية. لكن الاكثر من مجرد عودته، هو رجاؤنا الراسخ فى ظهوره المجيد كمخلصنا ليأخذنا للمنزل السماوي لنكون مع ابينا السماوي و مع القديسين من احبائنا من الذين سبقونا للمجد. فى ذلك اليوم، ثقتنا فى يسوع كربنا سوف تثبت وسوف تتحقق اقصى احلامنا.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
One way to view our lives is to see them as a wait. However, a long wait without anticipation is frustrating and sometimes fosters bitter anger for what appears to be wasted time. Long or short, as followers of Jesus, we live and wait with anticipation. Our waiting has us on tiptoe, looking forward to the coming of our "blessed hope." This hope is rooted in Jesus' promise to return. But more than just his return, our hope is rooted in his glorious appearance as our Savior coming to take us home to our Father and reunion with the saints of old and our loved ones more recently departed. On that day, our trust in Jesus as Lord will be validated, and our highest expectations will be realized.

يا إلهى المجيد المخلص، اشكرك لارسالك يسوع المرة الأولى لانقاذى من آثامى. من فضلك قونى بينما انتظر عودته المجيده، لكى اعيش منتصرا الآن مثلما سأكون معك فى المستقبل عندما يعود يسوع مرة اخري. في اسم يسوع اصلى. آمين.
My Prayer...
Glorious and faithful God, thank you for sending Jesus the first time to save me from my sins. Please strengthen me as I wait for his glorious return so that I can live as victoriously now as I will with you in the future when he returns. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
