WE BELIEVE:

THE MEMBERS of churches of Christ BELIEVE that it is important to imitate the church that is described in the New Testament. 1 Corinthians 11:1.

WE BELIEVE that Christians can do this because we have the same Old Testament those Christians had and we have the same teachings those Christians had which are now found in the New Testament.
1 Corinthians 4:14-17.

WE BELIEVE this is important because Jesus taught that it is possible to worship God in vain if your doctrines are the precepts of men.
Mark 7:8-13.

WE BELIEVE that since it was possible to misuse the Old Testament, it is also possible to misuse the New Testament as well.
Galatians 1:8-12.

WE BELIEVE the warning that was given to us by Jesus: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'LORD, LORD', will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he does the will of My Father who is in heaven."
Matthew 7:21-29

WE BELIEVE then, as those in Berea, that our doctrines, beliefs and teachings must be from the Word of God.
Acts 17:10-12.

WE TOO BELIEVE in searching the scriptures daily to make sure we are not making void the word of God by our teaching and preaching in our worship to God.

WE BELIEVE that it is the duty of every disciple of Christ to make sure that he observe the teachings of Christ.
Matthew 28:16-20 and Philippians 2:12-13.

REMEMBER, you stake your life on your beliefs!

Realism is showing people and things as they really are. In the last few years realism has brought increased nudity and violence to television and the movies. Do you know anybody that undresses in public so that EVERYBODY can see? Do you know anybody that commits acts of violence in public so that EVERYBODY can see? John 3:19 says: "And this is the judgment, that the light is come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil." This isn't realism, this is greediness and lustfulness! This isn't realism, this is evil, darkness and sin! And John 3:20 says: "For everyone who does evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed." Do you love the darkness and hate the light? Or do love the light and hate the darkness?

What if the Lord were to come right now? Would you know for sure, nothing doubting, that you would go to heaven? Don't know? Can't decide? I'd like to help! WE ARE of the body of Christ and Christ is the head of our body.

WE ARE autonomous. We have no binding connection with any organization or church. Our only allegiance is to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We have no earthly headquarters, our headquarters is in Heaven.

WE ARE believers in the Bible. The Bible is God's preserved Inspired word, the complete revelation of God's will and the only source of Divine authority. It is by this word that the church was founded and should function upon.

WE ARE trying to be like Jesus.  We do not compare ourselves to any man; but we are trying to conform to the likeness of Christ.

WE ARE dependent on God for salvation. No man has the ability to save himself from his sinful self. 

WE ARE not judges of men. That is done by the Holy Spirit through the Bible, by each person himself and by God on judgment day.

WE ARE not perfect.  We must depend on the living Jesus for our perfection and His blood for our forgiveness.
