Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
Que cantidad de verdades se encuentran en esta sola oración de bendición. En primer lugar nos dice lo que Dios puede hacer por nosotros: Prevenir que nos hundamos en el pecado presentándonos en su presencia en perfección. A la vez, también nos habla de Dios mismo; Él es poderoso, el único Dios, nuestro Salvador, el que vive en la gloria y majestad, poder y autoridad, el que nos ha comunicado por Jesús, nuestro Señor, el que existe antes de los siglos, quien vive ahora y quien vivirá para siempre. Nuestras bendiciones como hijos de Dios son increíbles, pero existen porque Dios es más que increíble y maravilloso. Nuestras palabras no pueden hacerle justicia. Nuestros pensamientos más profundos no pueden comprender su gloria. Aun así, a pesar de su grandeza, nos ama en nuestra mortalidad finita!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
What a great cluster of truths Jude provides us! Our eyes are first drawn to what God can do for us — prevent us from falling and present us before his glorious presence in joyful perfection. On closer inspection, our hearts are also drawn to the description of our incredible God: the one who is able, the only God, our Savior, who lives in glory, majesty, and power. God is the one true authority who has communicated to us through Jesus, who existed before all ages, is alive now, and will always be. Our blessings as God's children are incredible, but they are because our God is beyond incredible; he is gloriously extraordinary, wonderfully gracious, and indescribably holy. Our words cannot do him justice. Our brightest insights cannot comprehend his glory. Yet despite his grandeur, God loves you and me in our finite and flawed mortality!

Señor Majestuoso y Santo, gracias no solo por ser Dios sino por amarme y por permitirme verte en la cara de Jesús. Anhelo estar en tu presencia, gozando tu perfección y alabándote con los ángeles. Te pido que aceptes mi alabanza humana y limitada hasta el día cuando mis palabras queden libres de su mortandad y mis imperfecciones siendo rodeadas por tu gloria. En el nombre de Jesús, Amen.

Awesome and Holy Lord, Most High God, thank you for being Almighty God, and also tenderly loving me and showing yourself to me in the life and ministry of Jesus. I look forward to standing in your presence, enjoying your perfection, and praising you in the presence of the glorious angels. Please accept my human praise until my words are unchained from their mortality and my imperfections are swallowed up in your glory. Amen.
