Pedro hace claro que su fe en Jesús no empezó con Jesús. Empezó con los patriarcas, los grandes Padres del Judaísmo. El mismo Dios que les bendecía a ellos resucitó a Jesús de la muerte. En la manera más cruel y espantosa para un Judio fiel, fue clavado a una cruz, algo ilegal y una señal de ser maldecido bajo la ley judia. Levantó a Jesús de la muerte y lo exaltó, haciendolo nuestro Salvador y Señor. ¡Alabado sea Dios!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Peter is making clear that his faith in Jesus didn't just begin with Jesus. It began with the Patriarchs, the great Jewish fathers. The God who blessed them also raised Jesus from the dead, even though Jesus had been executed in the most heinous and degrading way possible for a faithful Jew — he was nailed to a cross, something that was both illegal and a sign of being cursed under Jewish Law. He raised Jesus from the dead and exalted him and made him our Savior and our Lord. Praise God!

Gracias, Padre Amado, por demonstrar tu poder sobre toda maldad, pecado, odio, celosia y muerte. En el nombre de Jesús, mi Señor y Salvador, ofrezco mi alabanza y gracias, Amen.
