Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
El confesar nuestros pecados quiere decir que miramos a nuestros pecados como Dios los mira, con el mismo espanto. Este tipo de confesión abre nuestros corazones a un diluvio de bendiciones desde el cielo (Salmos 51). Dios comparte con nosotros la liberación dulce del pecado que Jesús compró en el Calvario. Nuestros pecados no son solamente perdonados, sino que somos purificados. Ya no somos pecadores y la mancha del pecado también es borrada. Somos limpios, perfectos y sin mancha por la gracia de Dios que purifica (Colosenses 1:21-22). Ahora ¡vivamos en una manera que refleje este don increíble!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Confessing our sins means that we view our sin the same way that God does — the same revulsion and disdain for them. This kind of confession opens our hearts to the flood of heaven's grace (see Psalm 51). God shares with us the sweet liberation from sin that Jesus purchased at Calvary; our sins are not only forgiven, but we are purified. We are no longer sinners and the stain of that sin is removed as well. We are clean, perfect, and without spot because of God's purifying grace (Col. 1:21-22). Now let's live in a way that is reflective of this incredible gift!
Mi oración
Padre ¡confieso a ti mis pecados! Perdóname por... (Diga a Dios tus pecados). Gracias por permitirme ser honesto contigo en compartir mi frustración y pena por ellos. Líbrame del poder en mi vida que tienen y dame la confianza que no solamente me los has perdonado, sino que me has hecho puro y santo. En el nombre de Jesús, oro, Amén.

Father, I do confess to you my sins! Please forgive me for... (please verbalize to God specifically your sins) Thank you for letting me be honest with you and share with you my frustration and my sorrow for them. Please liberate me from their power in my life and give me the confidence that you have not only forgiven them, but that you have made me pure and holy. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
