Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
Jesús dijo a Pedro, "Los que viven por la espada, morirán por la espada." La violencia engendra más violencia. Es raro el caso en donde una persona que ha vivido por la violencia no recibe su pago. El sabio en esencia está diciendo lo mismo en este versículo con una sola cosa agregada. Las bendiciones vendrán para la persona que es justa. Cosechamos lo que sembramos.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Jesus told Peter, "Those who live by the sword will die by the sword." Violence begets violence and rarely does a violent person not have to taste the bitter repayment of violence. God's Wise Man is saying essentially the same thing in this verse, but with one key addition. Blessings come to the person who is righteous. We reap what we sow!

Santo Dios, bendíceme con justicia, no solo por tu misericordia y gracia, sino también por la transformación de mi corazón por tu Espíritu Santo. En el nombre de Jesús lo pido, Amen.
My Prayer...
Holy God, please bless me with righteousness — not just by your grace and mercy, but by the transformation of my heart by your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name I ask it. Amen.
