오늘의 묵상
오늘 무엇을 구하고 계신가요? 선을 구하시나요? 혹은 원한을 품거나 험담을 퍼뜨리거나 욕정에게 먹잇감을 주면서 악을 추구하시나요? 하나님께서는 우리와 함께 거하기를 고대하시며 우리를 떠나지 않으시기로 약속하셨습니다. 하지만 하나님께서 가시는 곳에는 그분의 성품과 의로우심과 선하심도 당연히 따라온다는 것을 명심해야 합니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
What are you seeking to gain out of today? Do you seek good? Or will you pursue evil? Sure, we often don't call what we do evil, but isn't that what evil does? Nursing a grudge, spreading some gossip, or feeding a lust is evil, isn't it? God longs to be with us. He has promised never to leave us or forsake us. But where God goes, his character, righteousness, and goodness must follow! That means we MUST seek good!

선하시고 사랑하시는 아버지, 예수님을 보내셔서 선하다는 모습이 어떤 것인지 보여주셨으니 감사드립니다. 아버지의 영으로 저를 채워주셔서 아버지의 선한 영적 열매를 맺을 수 있게 하셨으니 감사드립니다. 그리스도의 몸인 아버지의 백성들 안에 저를 넣어 주셔서 돌봄이 필요한 이들을 위해 선한 행동을 하게 하셨으니 감사드립니다. 하지만 아버지, 제 마음 속 깊이 깨닫기로는 아버지만이 참으로 선하시다는 것을 인식하고 있습니다. 제가 아버지와 아버지의 성품과 아버지의 선하심을 제 삶 속에서 구하오니 저를 도우시옵소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Good and loving Father, thank you for showing me what goodness looks like by sending Jesus. Thank you for filling me with your Spirit so I can produce your good spiritual fruit. Thank you for putting me within the Body of Christ, your people, so I can have opportunities to do good deeds for those in need of care. But deep down, Father, I recognize that you alone are truly good. Please help me as I seek you, your character, and your goodness in my life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
