오늘의 묵상
오늘날 교회들에서 금식을 다 하는 것은 아니지만, 금식이 초대 교회의 행사였던 것은 분명합니다. 교회 회중들이 전부 참여하든 안하든 상관없으니, 중요한 행사를 준비할 때에는 기도와 금식의 시간을 확실히 가집시다. 그리하여 이 세상에서 일을 개시할 때에는 하나님의 이끄심, 능력, 인도하심을 구하도록 합시다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
While fasting is not widely practiced in many churches today, it was clearly something that was a part of the early church experience. Whether sponsored by our congregations or not, let's make sure that we prepare for major events with a time of prayer and fasting, asking for God's leading, power, and guidance as we embark on his work in the world.

오 주님, 주님께서는 모든 백성을 사랑하심을 압니다. 자신이 태어난 문화권을 벗어나 살면서 잃어버린 자들과 사랑하며 복음을 나누는 사람들을 축복해 주십시오. 그들의 사역이 성공하도록, 악한 자에게서 그들을 보호하시고, 사야할 방향으로 이끌어 주시옵소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
O Lord, I know you love all people. Please bless those who are in cultures other than their own, seeking to lovingly share your Gospel with those who are lost. Bless their efforts with success, protect them from the evil one, and lead them in the direction they need to go. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
