آج کی آیت پر خیالات
اُف، ہمیں تو ہزاروں سال پہلے سے ہی گناہ کا طریقہ پتہ ہے۔ لیکن ہم اب بھی بعض اوقات اُسی راستہ پر چلتے ہیں۔ ابھی بھی جو ہماری آنکھوں کو خوشنما معلوم ہوتا ہے ہم اُس کےلالچ میں آ جاتے ہیں۔ ہم اُس کو مزید جانچنے کےلیے رُکتے ہیں، اور اُس کی خواہش میں اپنے اپنے آپ کو پھانسنے کے لیے اجازت دیتے ہیں۔ ہم اِس میں غوطہ لگاتے ہیں اور پھر کھیلتے ہیں۔ اور پھر ہم گناہ میں شامل ہو جاتے ہیں۔ آخرکار، ہم دُوسروں کو بھی گناہ میں شامل کرتے ہیں۔ آپ نے سوچا کہ ہم اب سیکھ چُکے ہیں اور اب ہم لوگ رُک گئے ہیں۔ چنانچہ رُوح القُدُس کی مدد سے، کیوں نا ہم ایسا کرنے کی کوشش کریں؟
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Ouch! We've known the way of sin for thousands of years, yet we sometimes still follow its path. We're lured by something pleasing to our eyes. We pause for closer inspection of it, allowing ourselves to be caught up in its desirability. We dabble in it and play with it, deceiving ourselves into thinking we can handle it by ourselves. We then participate in the sin. Finally, we involve others in our sin. You'd think we would have learned the pattern and stopped by now. You would think when we see others going down this trail of destruction, we would intervene. So, let's avoid sin and seek the help of the Holy Spirit to overcome temptation and help others by intervening when they are being led down the path of destruction.

اے باپ، براہِ کرم میرے گنہگار اور باغی دل کے لیے مجھے معاف کردے۔ میں مکمل طور پر تیرے لیے جینا چاہتا ہوں۔ میں گناہ کی رغبت یا دنیا کے جذبات میں پھنسنا نہیں چاہتا، لیکن میں تیرے جلال کے لیے پُورے جذبے کے ساتھ خُدا پرستی کی زندگی بسر کرنا چاہتا ہوں۔ یسُوع کے قادر نام میں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Father, please forgive me for my rebellious and sinful heart. Please help me realize when I am willfully self-deceiving myself when flirting with temptation. I want to live wholly and be holy for you. I don't want to be captured by the allure of sin or tempted by worldly passions, but to passionately live a godly life for your glory by avoiding sin and helping others when they are tempted. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray. Amen.
