ایک سخت انتباہ کے خلاف یروشیلم کے حاکم نے عدالتِ عالیہ بُلائی ، کیونکہ پطرس اور دُوسرے شاگردوں نے یسُوع کے خُداوند ہونے کا دعویٰ کیا تھا۔ وہ جانتے تھے کہ یسُوع نے اُس کو اور اُس کی منادی کو ختم کی کوششوں پر فتح پائی۔ شاگردوں نے واضح طور پر اُن لوگوں کے حُکم ماننے سے انکار کر دیا جنہوں نے یسُوع کو صلیب دیا تھا۔ ہر طرح کے معیار کے مطابق یہ ایک وفادار حوصلہ مندی تھی۔ آپ یسُوع کے معرکہ کے لیے "کس طرح کھڑے ہیں"۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Against a stern warning from the ruling council in Jerusalem, called the Sanhedrin, Peter and the other apostles proclaimed Jesus as Lord. They knew that Jesus had triumphed over the attempts of his enemies to extinguish him and his ministry. The apostles blatantly disobeyed the orders of the very same people who had Jesus crucified. By any standard, that is faithful courage. How are you doing in the "standing up for Jesus" battle?
میری دعا
خُداوند قادر خُدا،براہِ کرم میری رُوح کو حوصلہ مند ہونے کےلیے اپنے رُوح سے قوت بخش۔ میں کبھی اپنے عقائد سے پیچھے نہیں ہٹنے والا نہ ہی یسُوع میں اپنا عقیدہ ترک کروں گا، جس کے نام میں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔

Lord God Almighty, please empower me by your Spirit to be courageous. I do not want to ever back down from my convictions nor ever renounce my faith in Jesus, in whose name I pray. Amen.
