आज के वचन पर आत्मचिंतन...
जब हमने बपतिस्मा में यीशु के नाम का आह्वान किया और उस पर अपना उद्धारकर्ता होने का भरोसा किया, तो हम पाप के लिए मर गए। इस मृत्यु में, हम मरने के लिए मरते हैं और यीशु में और परमेश्वर की शक्ति में हमारे विश्वास के कारण मृत्यु से जीवन में जाते हैं (यूहन्ना 5:24; कुलु० 2:12)। हमारा जीवन यीशु के साथ जुड़ा हुआ है, और उसका गौरवशाली भविष्य हमारा अपना बन जाता है (कुलु० 3:1-4)। हम कानून के अधीन नहीं हैं, लेकिन अनुग्रह के अधीन हैं। आइए अनुग्रह के उपहार के प्रति जोश के साथ और पवित्र होने के जोश के साथ प्रतिक्रिया दें। आइए हम स्वयं को पवित्र आत्मा के परिवर्तनकारी कार्य के लिए खोलें, जो हमें यीशु के समान बनने के लिए परिवर्तित करता है (2 कुरि० 3:18)। हम अनुग्रह-बच्चे हैं। हम पाप के बन्धन में नहीं हैं, परन्तु अनुग्रह से मुक्त होकर वह सब कुछ बन गए हैं जो परमेश्वर ने हमें बनाया है - उसकी कारीगरी (इफि० 2:1-10)। पाप हमारा स्वामी नहीं होगा!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
As we called on Jesus name in baptism and trusted him to be our Savior, we died to sin. In this death, we die to dying and pass from death to life because of our faith in Jesus and in God's power (John 5:24; Col. 2:12). Our life is joined to Jesus, and his glorious future becomes our own (Col. 3:1-4). We are not under law, but grace. Let's respond to the gift of grace with passion and with zeal to be holy. Let's open ourselves to the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, who changes us to be like Jesus (2 Cor. 3:18). We are grace-children. We are not in bondage to sin, but liberated by grace to be all that God has made us to be — his craftmanship (Eph. 2:1-10). Sin will not be our master!
