Gedanken zum Vers des Tages
Hast du gewusst, dass die Bibel nicht nur sagt: “Gott liebt dich”? Lass dich nicht von mir durcheinanderbringen. Die Schrift teilt uns fürwahr mehrmals mit, dass Gott uns liebt. Dabei dürfen wir jedoch eine wichtige Wahrheit nicht übersehen. Jedes Mal, wenn die Bibel uns mitteilt, dass Gott uns liebt, demonstriert sie diese Liebe auch. Gottes Liebe ist mehr als nur ein Gefühl oder eine Absicht. Gottes Liebe wird demonstriert. Gott hat uns so sehr geliebt, dass er nicht bloß sagt, “ich liebe dich”, vielmehr hat Gott seine Liebe dadurch demonstriert, dass er seinen Sohn sandte und opferte, um uns seine unvergleichliche Liebe zu schenken! Wir müssen nie daran zweifeln, dass Gott meint, was er sagt. Er hat seine Verheißungen der Liebe durch seine Taten untermauert.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Did you know the Bible doesn't just say, "God loves you." But don't let me confuse you. Scripture does tell us many times that God loves us. However, don't miss the important truth here. Each time Scripture tells us that God loves us, it also demonstrates that love by something God has done for us. You see, God's love is much more than emotion and intention. God's love is always demonstrated by what he does, has done, or will do. God loved us so much he didn't just say, "I love you." God also showed his love by sending his Son to sacrifice himself for our sins and give us his incomparable and eternal love! We never have to doubt that God means it when he says, "I love you." He always backs up his promises of love with his loving and sacrificial actions toward us.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Liebender und allmächtiger Gott, ich danke dir dafür, dass du mich liebst. Danke, dass du es mir sagst und zeigst. Du sollst bitte wissen, lieber Vater, dass auch ich dich liebe! Nimm heute meine Worte und meine Taten als Zeugnis meiner Liebe an. Durch Jesus bete ich. Amen.
My Prayer...
Loving and Almighty God, thank you for loving me. Thank you for both saying you love me and demonstrating your love through your redemptive actions for me. Please know, dear Father, I love you, too! Please accept my loving emotions, words, and actions today as a testimony to my love for you. Through Jesus, I pray and thank you for your love. Amen.
