Gedanken zum Vers des Tages
“Dein Reich komme, dein Wille geschehe, wie im Himmel so auf der Erde” “Maranata! Komm Herr Jesus!” Jawohl, jedes Knie wird sich beugen. Aber wir beugen unsere Knie schon. Wir leben in Erwartung auf den Tag, wenn alle Menschen sich vor unserem König beugen werden. Bis zu jenem Tag lasst uns alles versuchen, so viele Menschen wie möglich zu beeinflussen, damit sie sich an diesem Tag vor Jesus aus Freude und nicht aus Angst beugen!

Yes, every knee will someday bow, but thank God, ours already do. We live in anticipation of the day when every knee in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:10-11). Until that day, let's do all we can to influence as many as we can to receive the grace of God through faith in Jesus. We want them to bow before Jesus now as their Savior and Lord, today, so on that great future day, they can join with the host of heaven in joy, not in regret and fear, and acknowledge Jesus for who he is: Lord of all!
Mein Gebet
Vater, ich danke dir, dass du mich errettet hast. Möge mich meine Erwartung auf den Tag des Sieges Jesu zum Dienst der Versöhnung bewegen, damit viele Menschen für jenen Tag bereit sind und ihn mit Freude begrüßen können. Schenke mir Augen, um jene Menschen erkennen zu können, die sich heute zu Jesus bekennen sollen. Durch ihn bete ich. Amen.
My Prayer...
Father, I thank you for saving me. May my anticipation of the day of Jesus' victory move me to be your agent of reconciliation so others are ready for that day and will welcome it with joy. Give me eyes to see those who need to come to Jesus today. Through him I pray. Amen.
