Gedanken zum Vers des Tages
Sage es heute und so oft du kannst, ohne dabei andere Menschen zu beleidigen: “Jesus ist Herr.” Sage es nicht nur, sondern meine es wahrhaftig. Schlage das Wort “Herr” in einer Konkordanz nach und lese jegliche zutreffende Stelle im Neuen Testament. Öffne dein Herz und bitte Jesus, Herr deines Lebens zu werden. Jesus ist Herr! Er ist Herr, ob du ihn als Herrn anerkennst oder nicht. Aber eines Tages “werden sich einmal alle vor ihm auf die Knie werfen. Alle werden anerkennen, dass Jesus Christus der Herr ist“ (Phil.2,10-11). Lasst uns das jetzt, wo es für uns und für all jene, die wir lieben, so wichtig ist, bekennen!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Say it today as often as you can: “Jesus is Lord.” But more than just saying it, truly mean it. Look up the word “Lord” in a concordance and read all the references to it in the New Testament. Open up your heart and ask Jesus to be Lord of your life. Jesus is Lord! He will be so whether you or I recognize it or not. But one day, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. (Philippians 2:10-11) Let's just get on board while it matters most to us and to those we love!
Mein Gebet
HERR allmächtiger Gott, danke dir dafür, dass du Jesus vom Tod erweckt und ihm den Sitz der Macht zu deiner Rechten als Herr und Christus gegeben hast. Ich möchte, dass dein Sohn, Jesus, mein Herr ist – heute und bis zu dem Tag meiner Heimführung. Ich mache dieses Bekenntnis im Namen Jesus Christus, meinem Heiland und Herrn. Amen.

Lord God Almighty, thank you for raising Jesus from the dead and seating him at your right hand in power and making him both Lord and Christ. I want your Son, Jesus, to be my Lord today, and until that Day he comes to take me home. I make this confession in the name of Jesus Christ, my Savior and my Lord. Amen.
