El odio—que palabra tan fuerte. No debemos odiar a la gente. Pero sí debemos de odiar la maldad. Es difícil de hacer, pero necesario. La maldad existe por el Maligno—el maestro del odio, la mentira y la muerte. Así cuando la maldad levante su cabeza, tengamos coraje, oponiéndonos a Satanás y su obra. En el proceso oremos por los que están atrapados en sus tentáculos.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Hate — what a bold and powerful word. We must not hate people. We must hate evil. Tough combination to pull off, but absolutely vital. Evil is here because of the Evil One — the champion of hate, lies and death. So when evil rears its ugly head, let's be courageous and oppose Satan and his work. In the process, let's pray for those trapped in its tentacles, even if they consider us enemies.
Mi oración
Dios Todopoderoso, haz que mi corazón reconozca y sufra por la maldad en el mundo. Dame un rechazo a las cosas opuestas a tu voluntad. A su vez, Padre, así como me redimiste por obra de tu gracia y me rescataste cuando estuve cautivo por el pecado, dame el coraje de amar a los atrapados en el abrazo del Maligno. My Prayer...
Almighty God, make my heart pained by the evil in my world. Give me a holy revulsion to things opposed to your will and character. Yet Father, just as you redeemed me by grace, and rescued me while a captive to sin, give me courage to care about those who are in the Evil One's embrace. Through my Savior I pray. Amen.
