La vie est pleine de hauts et de bas. Une grande partie de ce qui nous tient à cœur peut être touchée par la mort, la catastrophe et la décomposition. Qu'est-ce que nous avons de certain? Vers qui pouvons-nous nous tourner pour obtenir une assurance? Où trouve-t-on le pouvoir de vivre victorieusement dans les bons et les mauvais moments? Dans le Seigneur qui nous donne la force!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Life is full of ups and downs, highs and lows. So much of what and who we hold dear in this world can be touched by death, disaster, and decay. What do we have that is certain? To whom can we turn for assurance? Where do we find the power to live victoriously in good times and bad? In the Lord who gives us strength! With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can do everything and endure everything, with the help of God — Father, Son, and Spirit who give us strength!
Ma Prière...
O Éternel Dieu, Père de toute création, je confesse que ma vie et les circonstances dans lesquelles j'essaie de la vivre sont hors de ma capacité de contrôle. Je te remercie d'être présent pour me réconforter, me protéger, me guider et me donner les moyens de faire face à chaque situation avec confiance et assurance. Parce que tu es avec moi, ô berger aimant, je sais que j'aurai tout ce dont j'ai besoin pour vivre victorieusement pour toi jusqu'au jour où j'irai partager avec toi ta gloire. Au nom de Jesus. Amen.
My Prayer...
O Lord God, Father of all creation, we confess that our lives and the circumstances in which we live are beyond our abilities to control. We thank you for being present to comfort, protect, guide, and empower us. Because of your presence and strength in us and with us, we believe we can face each situation with confidence and assurance. Because you are with each of us, O loving Shepherd, we know we will have all we need to live victoriously for you until the glorious day we share with you in your glory. In Jesus' name. Amen.
