Je peux choisir les sources d'information avec lesquelles je nourris mon esprit. Mais ce privilège et cette liberté sont aussi une responsabilité. Dieu aspire à me bénir, mais cette bénédiction reste en sommeil jusqu'à ce que mon cœur prenne plaisir à connaître et à faire sa volonté.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Although the world around us screams all sorts of messages to us, we get to choose which sources of information we feed our minds. This privilege and freedom also come with the responsibility to choose what we hear and obey. As followers of Jesus, choosing to listen to God's truth is not just a choice, but a holy commitment. God longs to bless us with his will, revealed in the Scriptures, and with his moral guidance and definitions of what is holy and acceptable in his law. However, that blessing remains dormant until our hearts delight in knowing and doing his will. Let's find our delight in knowing and doing God's will, like the Son and our Savior, Jesus, did throughout his life on earth!
Ma Prière...
Créateur merveilleux, tout comme Tu as façonné un si beau monde et m'as réuni dans le ventre de ma mère, je te demande également de créer en moi le désir de connaître ta vérité et un aperçu de la façon de vivre cette vérité. Je sais que ton Saint-Esprit est en moi pour m'aider dans ce voyage, mais je veux tellement te plaire et te bénir à cause de toutes les façons dont Tu m'as béni. Au nom de Jésus, je prie. Amen.
My Prayer...
O Wondrous Creator, just as you fashioned such a beautiful world and put me together tenderly in my mother's womb, I also ask that you create a desire in me to know your truth and have the will to live that truth. I know your Holy Spirit is in me to empower and transform me on this journey. I yearn to please you and bless you for all the ways you have blessed me. I choose to delight in your truth! In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
