오늘의 묵상
우리들은 자연(Mother Nature)에 대해 말할때가 많습니다. 하지만, 성경에서는 이 우주의 질서를 유지시키는 힘이 바로 예수님으로부터 나온다고 하는데, 알고 계셨나요? 이 세상을 그 능력의 말씀으로 지탱하고 계시는 것입니다. 이 예수님은 자기 생명을 희생하여 우리를 구원하셨을 뿐 아니라, 말씀으로 우리들의 생명을 지키십니다. 말씀의 가르침으로 우리를 영적으로 붙드시고, 능력과 영광의 말씀으로 이 세상을 지탱하고 계십니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Some talk about "Mother Nature," but Christians should realize that Scripture identifies Jesus as the power behind the order and processes of our universe and the One Who sustains our world with his powerful word. Not only did he save us by the sacrifice on the Cross, but he now sustains our universe with his powerful words of loving grace. He sustains us spiritually through his words of teaching. And this Word, who speaks to us and to our universe, is the essence of God himself. He purified us from our sins, failures, and shortcomings while he was on earth and now reigns in glory until he returns to take us home!

전능하신 하나님, 제가 예수님의 말씀을 의지하여 살아가기로 결심하오니 저와 함께 해 주세요. 제가 말씀을 잘 이해하고 적용할 수 있도록 도와주세요. 사랑하는 아버지, 무엇보다도 말씀을 통해 당신을 더욱 잘 알게 되도록 도와주세요. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Please be with me, Almighty God, as I commit to live for you based on Jesus' words. Please help me as I seek to understand it and apply Jesus' teaching to my daily life. More than that, dear Father, please help me come to know you and your will through Jesus' words and his actions while on earth. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
