오늘의 묵상
하나님께서 우리를 사랑하신다는 것을 우리는 확신할 수 있습니다. 하나님께서는 우리들이 그 사랑 안에서 살고 그 사랑으로 축복받기를 원하십니다. 그 사랑은 우리가 구원받을 때에 받는 은혜 그 이상입니다. 하나님의 사랑이 확장되어 우리에게까지 닿게 되는 것입니다. 우리가 다른 이들에게 행하는 사랑의 행동 안에서, 하나님의 그 사랑이 구원의 영향력을 발휘합니다. 우리의 사랑하는 태도와 행위에서 그의 임재가 나타납니다. 하나님의 사랑을 우리가 이웃과 나누기 원하십니다. 우리가 그 사랑을 받아서 또한 나눌때에 그 사랑이 우리를 축복하는 것입니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
We can rely on God's love because he demonstrated it by sending Jesus to save us (John 3:16-17). The Father wants us to live in and be blessed by his love. That love is more than just the grace that reached us when God saved us. We experience God's love when he extends it through us to others who need it. His love is redemptive and manifest — shown through our loving behaviors toward others. His presence is demonstrated and experienced through our loving attitudes, words, and deeds expressed to our brothers and sisters in Christ, our neighbors, and even our enemies. As we share God's love with others, his love blesses us as we experience the presence of the Father, Son, and Spirit, making their home in us (John 14:21, 23, 25).

하늘 아버지, 저는 당신의 사랑을 의지합니다. 당신의 사랑 없는 제 삶? 상상할 수도 없습니다; 아마도 완전히 길을 잃어버릴 것입니다. 하지만 당신께서 저를 사랑하는 것을 압니다, 아버지. 저는 미래에 대해 확신하며, 지금 이순간 기쁨이 가득하고, 예수님께서 다시 오시는 그 날, 당신의 임재 안에서 그 사랑이 온전히 실현될 바로 그 날을 목을 빼고 기다립니다. 저를 사랑해 주셔서 감사합니다. 예수님 이름으로 감사드립니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Father in heaven, I rely on your love. I cannot imagine my life without it; I would be lost entirely. However, I know you love me, Father. I am confident about my future because of that love. I am full of joy as I stand on tiptoe in my heart, looking over my life's horizon to the time I experience your love in its full glory at Jesus' coming and I see you face-to-face. Thank you for loving me. In Jesus' name, I thank and praise you. Amen.
