오늘의 묵상
우리들은 아이, 부모, 형제, 배우자, 친구 혹은 하나님으로부터 떨어지는 분리(이별)을 두려워합니다. 예수님께서는 사람이 되시고 십자가를 겪으셨으므로, 하나님으로부터의 분리를 견뎌내셨습니다. 예수님의 희생덕분에, 하나님의 사랑으로부터 떨어질 필요가 전혀 없을 것이라고 알 수 있습니다. 예수님께서 그 이별을 견디셨으니 우리는 그것을 절대 두려워하지 않아도 되는 것입니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Separation is a primal fear, whether it is separation from something we fear, whether it's separation from a child, a parent, a sibling, a spouse, a friend, but especially separation from God is a deep fear for those of us who love him. Jesus endured separation from God by becoming a human and by going to the cross. As Paul put it so eloquently:
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Because of Jesus' sacrifice, and our faith that he did it for us, we are in Christ. We know we'll never have to be separated from God's love. He bore the separation so we would never have to fear it. Nothing in all creation can separate us from God's love for us in Jesus!

모든 민족의 위대하신 아버지, 저를 사랑해 주셔서 감사합니다. 아버지의 사랑으로부터 저를 떨어뜨릴 수 있는 것은 아무것도 없다는 약속을 해주셨으니 감사드립니다. 제 삶 속에 동행하시는 임재에 대해 더욱 알게 되도록 도와주시옵소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Gracious and loving Father of all peoples, thank you for loving us in Jesus and adopting us as your children in Christ to bring us close to you. Thank you for promising that nothing can separate us from your love. Use the Spirit to help us know, deep inside, making us experientially aware of your accompanying presence in our lives as you live with us, in us, and make your home with us as we live for you.* We pray this in Jesus name. Amen.
