오늘의 묵상
이런 고백이 우리 자신의 것이 되었으면 하고 얼마나 바라는지요! 우리는 아직 정금같이 되지 못했지만, 그렇게 되기를 원합니다. 우리는 아직 하나님의 발자취를 완전히 따르지는 못하지만, 노력하고 있습니다. 길을 벗어나지 않으려고 노력은 하지만, 가끔 흔들리곤 합니다. 우리의 의도와 갈망들이 제자됨 안에서 성취될 때까지 하나님이 주시는 은혜에 감사드립니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
How we long for Job's words in this verse to be our true confession. We are not yet gold, but long to be. We are not yet fully following the Lords steps, but are trying to follow faithfully. We have tried not to turn aside from God's ways, but we sometimes falter. Thank God for his grace until our intentions and desires are fulfilled in our genuine discipleship. Until that day, we pursue Jesus as we seek to reflect his character and compassion, trusting in the Holy Spirit to do the work of transformation* so that the following may be true of us as it was in Jesus:
He knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. My feet have closely followed his steps; I have kept to his way without turning aside.

위엄의 창조주, 우주를 유지하시는 분이시여, 하나님의 길을 따라가기 불충분한 저의 모습과 죄를 고백합니다. 거룩함과 기쁨 안에서 하나님을 섬기려고 헌신하오니 저를 용서해 주시옵소서. 제 죄를 덮으시는 하나님의 은혜에 감사드리며 제 안에서 예수님의 성품을 완전하게 이루시옵소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Magnificent Creator and Sustainer of the Universe, I confess my sin and my inadequacies in following your paths completely. Forgive me as I commit my life to serve you in holiness and joy. Thank you for your grace, which covers my sin and perfects in me the character of Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit. In the name of my Savior, Jesus, I pray. Amen.
