오늘의 묵상
하나님께서 주시는 많은 선물 중에, 가장 중요한 선물 중 하나는 그의 성령을 통한 하나님의 임재하심입니다. 영의 임재로 인해 우리는 하나님의 성전이 됩니다. (고전 6:19) 우리가 기도할 때 하나님의 뜻을 따라 성령께서 우리를 위해 대신 기도하십니다. (롬 8:26-27) 성령께서는 우리가 육신의 유혹을 이기도록 도우십니다. (롬 8:13-14) 성령께서는 우리 속사람에게 힘을 주십니다. (엡 3:16) 다른 말로 하면, 성령께서는 그리스도의 성품으로 우리를 변화시키기 위해 일하십니다. 성령님을 통한 하나님의 거룩하신 임재에 대해 감사드립시다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Of all the many gifts God gives us, the gift of his presence in us through his Holy Spirit is among the most precious.
- The Spirit's presence makes us God's temple (1 Corinthians 6:19).
- The Spirit intercedes for us according to the will of God when we pray (Romans 8:26-27).
- The Spirit helps us overcome the pull of our flesh (Romans 8:13-14).
- The Spirit gives us strength in our inner being (Ephesians 3:16).
- The Spirit transforms us to become more and more like Jesus (2 Corinthians 3:17-18).
The Holy Spirit is heaven's living witness within us, given to us to help us live for God. Oh, what a great gift!
내 기도
아버지, 성령님을 주셔서 지금 제가 기도할 때에 저를 대신하여 중보하여 주시니 감사드립니다. 제가 거룩한 삶을 당신께 드리며 살아가려 할 때, 당신의 영으로 저를 강하게 해 주십시오. 사랑하는 아버지, 성품과 연민의 마음에 있어서 당신의 아들 예수님과 더욱 닮게 되기를, 성령님을 통해 그렇게 변화되기를 제 마음이 간절히 원합니다. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Father, thank you so much for your Holy Spirit, who is now interceding for me as I pray. Please strengthen me through your Spirit as I seek to live a holy life dedicated to you. Dear Father, I yearn for the Holy Spirit to transform me daily to be more like your Son in character, compassion, righteousness, and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
