오늘의 묵상

승리! 궁극적 승리!! 만약 삶의 가장 큰 시험인 "죽음"에 대한 해답을 갖고 있지 못하신다면, 여러분은 승리할 수 없습니다. 수퍼볼과 월드시리즈는 매년 개최됩니다만, 이 큰 대회들의 우승팀은 일년동안만 우승자입니다. 하지만 그리스도인은 예수님 안에서 죽음을 이긴 승리를 가졌기 때문에 영원한 챔피언입니다.

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

We have victory, ultimate victory over death. You see, if we don't have the answer for life's biggest test, death, then we have no lasting victory. The Super Bowl and World Series are played every year. A champion is a victor for only one year and has to earn it again and again by competing and finishing the season in triumph. But a Christian is a champion forever. Because of Jesus, each true disciple of Christ Jesus has lasting victory over death. Yes, "thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

내 기도

하나님, 예수 그리스도 안에서 제게 승리를 주셔서 감사드립니다. 저를 죽음에서 일으키셔서 아버지께로 이끄실 때에 예수님의 뜻이 이루어질 것처럼, 매일 죄와 씨름하는 중에도 주님의 뜻이 제 안에서 승리하도록 만들어주시옵소서. 승리의 왕 예수님의 이름으로 간구합니다. 아멘.

My Prayer...

Thank you, God, for blessing us with lasting victory in Jesus Christ. In our daily struggles with sin, please make God's will triumphantly present in us now, just as it will be when he raises us from death and brings us home to you. Through our Triumphant King, we offer you our praise. Amen.
