오늘의 묵상
오늘 말씀대로라면, 하나님께서도 노래부르기를 좋아하십니다! 그분께서 사랑하시는 사람들에게 자장가를 즐거이 들려주신답니다. 하나님께서는 아빠(Abba) 아버지이실뿐 아니라, 마치 어머니 같으십니다. 애정어린 돌보심을 갖고 그 자녀들을 상냥하게 안아서 달래주십니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
I still remember trying to learn to affirm my son's value to him. I didn't know exactly what that looked like or what I was supposed to do or say. Then, the Holy Spirit gently reminded me of what God the Father did to affirm Jesus the Son at his baptism.
"You are my Son, whom I love; with you I am well pleased" (Luke 3:21).
God affirmed his relationship with Jesus, "You are my Son..." God affirmed his love and affection for Jesus, "...my Son, whom I love..." God affirmed his delight in Jesus, "...with you I am well pleased."
Zephaniah reminds us that the Father feels much the same about us as his children: "He will take great delight in you..." On top of that, he calms us with his love and rejoices over us in singing! God sees and values us as his children. He calms us in our fears and sings lullabies over us in his joy. We are his children whom he loves and in whom he takes delight!
내 기도
오 하나님, 삶의 폭풍우가 나를 삼키려고 으르렁거릴 때마다 기도하며, 오늘 말씀을 기억하고 피난처와 위로와 평화를 하나님의 돌보시는 품안에서 찾겠습니다. 오 하나님, 매일의 제 구원을 더욱 확실히 이루어 가실 때마다, 제 삶 속에서 하나님께서 노래하신다는 것을 제가 알도록 도와주시옵소서. 나의 구원자 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
O God, I pray that when the storms of life rage against me, I will remember these precious words and find my refuge, comfort, identity, acceptance, and peace in your sheltering care. Please, dear Father, make me more aware of your singing over me and your delight in me. Through my Savior Jesus, I pray. Amen.
