오늘의 묵상
우리들 각자의 삶에서 나올 수 있는 최고의 질문은... 단순합니다: "목숨을 바쳐도 좋을 만한 것이 있나요?" 사도 바울의 답은 "네~!"입니다. 그리스도께서 바로 정답이시며, 이유가 되시고, 소망이 되십니다. 지금 우리의 의지와 마음을 모아서 결단할 수 있다면, 우리도 그런 선언을 할 수 있을 것입니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
The ultimate question in each of our lives is simply this: Do we have something to live for that is also worth dying for? As Paul faced possible death in prison, his answer was "Yes!" He could boldly and honestly say, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain." Christ was his answer, reason for living, and hope beyond death. Our faith should lead us to say something similar or we don't have a hope that won't perish, spoil, or fade kept for us in heaven (1 Peter 1:4). Please, dear friend in Jesus, I am praying that you and I can celebrate together in the presence of our Lord Jesus when we are made like him as we see him as he genuinely is in glory (1 John 3:1-3; Colossians 3:1-4).

오 주님, 제 안에 그리스도께서 일하심을 볼 수 없게 만드는 제 행동과 말들을 용서해 주십시오. 이 지구에서 제게 주신 많은 세월동안 예수님과 그 능력의 은혜를 보여주는 살아있는 증거가 되기를 원합니다. 사랑하는 아버지, 그리스도께서 저를 아버지의 집으로 데려가실 승리의 날을 기다리겠습니다. 그날이 되기까지 아버지를 섬기도록 저를 사용해 주시옵소서. 제 앞에 무엇이 놓여있든, 제 미래는 아버지의 아들이시며 제 구세주이신 예수님께 달려 있음을 압니다. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
O Lord, please forgive me for the things I have done or said that made the work of Christ in me more difficult for others to see. As many years as you give me on our "tiny blue planet," I want to be a living testimony to Jesus and his powerful grace. I look forward to the day Christ comes in victory to bring me home to you. Until that day, please use me in your service to bring others to faith in Jesus and share in his future. I am thankful that no matter what you have in store for me. I am confident you have joined my future to your victorious Son and my Savior. I pray in his name, with great expectation and hope. Amen.
