오늘의 묵상
이제까지 받으셨던 위대한 선물들을 모두 떠올려보십시오. 우리의 구원을 위한 하나님의 은혜로우신 희생제물이셨던 예수님이 가장 위대한 선물이시고, 그 다음으로는 성령님을 통한 하나님의 임재이십니다! 우리가 구한다면 성령께서 우리에게 오십니다. 사실 우리가 하나님께 어떤 것을 구할때에, 성령께서는 이미 하나님과 함께 계시면서 우리를 위해 중보하시고 계신답니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Remember the best gifts you have ever given to someone else. Recall all the great gifts you've been given by others. Next to the gift of Jesus, God's gracious sacrifice for our salvation, the gifts we've given and received pale in comparison. Yet in giving us the gift of Jesus, the Father didn't stop his gift-giving. Through Jesus, God gave us the Holy Spirit when we came to Jesus as our Lord and Savior (1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Titus 3:4-7). And the Holy Spirit dwelling in us is the gift that keeps on giving, like an ever-flowing spring of cool water welling up to eternal life (John 7:37-39). What greater gifts can Father give than the gift of his Son and the abiding presence in us through the Holy Spirit (John 14:16-17, 21, 23). He assures us that he will be with us and make his home with us until we go home to be with him in our eternal home with him, forever.

아빠 Abba 아버지, 귀하신 성령님을 통해 아버지께 나아가오니 저를 비롯하여 제가 사랑하는 이들, 저희 교회 사람들에게 성령의 능력을 통해 힘을 주시옵소서. 우리나라와 세계를 휩쓸 부흥을 위해 간구하오니 은혜, 능력, 사랑의 성령으로 이끄시옵소서. 이 위대한 선물의 제공자가 되시는 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Abba Father, through the intercession of the precious Holy Spirit, your wonderful gift through Jesus, I come before you asking you to empower me, my loved ones, and our church family through the power of your Holy Spirit.* I pray for renewal to sweep over our country and throughout our world, led by your Spirit of grace, power, and love. Thank you for this incomparable gift of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus, the giver of this great gift, I pray. Amen.
