오늘의 묵상
하나님께서는 모든 은혜를 주시는 하나님이십니다! (벧전 5:10) 하나님께서는 주고, 축복하고, 힘주시기를 사랑하시는 분이십니다. 이런 세가지 일을 하시는 방식 중에 우리를 통해서 하실 때도 있습니다. 우리가 그 축복의 전달자가 되기 원하시는 것입니다. 달란트 비유에서 신실한 청지기처럼(마태복음 25장), 우리에게 맡기셔서 관리하라고 하신 것들을 관대하고 신실하게 잘 사용한다면 하나님께서는 우리를 더 축복하셔서 다른 이들을 돕고 하나님께 영광 돌리게 하십니다. 우리가 주고, 나누고, 축복할 때에 하나님께서는 우리가 상상할 수도 없는 더 많은 것으로 공급해 주십니다! (고후 9:6-11, 엡 3:20-21 참조)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Our God is the God of all grace (1 Peter 5:10). He loves giving, blessing, and empowering! One of God's chosen ways to do these three things is through us. Our Father in Heaven wants us to be conduits of his blessings. Like the faithful stewards in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:14-30), when we are faithful and generous in using what he has given us to administer, he blesses us with more to use to help others and bring him glory. As we provide, share, and encourage others, God continues supplying us with more than we can imagine to bless even more (2 Corinthians 9:6-11 & Ephesians 3:20-21).
내 기도
아버지, 제 마음을 여시고 더 관대한 사람이 되도록 도와주십시오. 저를 믿고 맡겨주신 많은 축복과 자원들을 잘 사용하기를 원하며, 그로 인해 이웃을 축복하고 아버지께 영광돌리기 원합니다. 담대하고 과감하게 나누어 줄 때에 제가 두려움 없이 행동하도록 용기를 주시옵소서. 제 마음이 순수하고 아버지의 은혜를 나눌 때에라도, 아버지보다 많이 나누어 줄 수는 없음을 잘 압니다! 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Father, please open my heart and help me be a more generous person. I want to use the many blessings and resources you have entrusted to me to bless others and bring you glory. Please give me the courage to use what you have given me in bold and extravagant ways in your service, to benefit others. I know that as my heart is pure and cheerful, I can keep sharing your grace, because I will never be able to outdo your extravagance! In Jesus' name, I praise and thank you. Amen.
