오늘의 묵상
하나님은 그 백성들에게 헌신하십니다. 공의를 사랑하시며, 공의를 추구하는 자들을 사랑하십니다. 그들의 삶에서 하나님의 성품을 드러내어 하나님을 존귀하게 하는 자들, 곧 그의 백성들을 잊지 않으실 것입니다. 하나님께서는 영원히 보호하시는 능력으로써 그 백성들에게 그 약속들을 지키실 것이라고 하셨습니다. 성경의 다른 곳에서도 하나님께서 약속하셨습니다: "내가 너희를 결코 떠나지 않겠고, 너희를 결코 버리지 않겠다"
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Don't you love the term for God's people when they live for him? They are "his faithful ones"! The Lord is committed to his people. He will not forget his people, those who seek to honor him by displaying his righteous character, gracious compassion, and faithful love and justice (Exodus 34:6). God has promised to honor his promises to his people and preserve them with his protecting power, forever. As God has promised, "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6; Hebrews 13:5-6).
내 기도
영원하시며 신실하신 아버지, 위대한 약속들에 감사를 드립니다. 제 삶 속에 신실하게 임재하심을 회상해볼때 저는 전율하게 됩니다. 아버지께 제 미래를 맡겨드릴 수 있으며, 승리와 큰 기쁨으로 아버지의 임재 속으로 저를 인도하실 것이라는 것을 온전히 믿습니다. 확실하며 변함없는 이런 소망을 주셔서 감사합니다. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Eternal and Faithful Father, thank you for your great promises. I am thrilled at the reminder of your faithful presence in my life. I fully believe I can entrust my future to you and that you will bring me into your presence with victory and great joy. Thank you for my sure and steadfast hope. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
