오늘의 묵상
때때로 전투입니다. 어떨 때는 전쟁입니다. 성령의 도우심 없이 우리 의지력만 가지고는 결국 포기해버릴지도, 거룩한 목표에서 많이 벗어난 결과를 맞이하게 될 지도 모릅니다. 하지만 성령의 능력으로 인하여, 아군의 피해를 극복하고 하나님께로 향해 확실히 전진할 수 있을 것입니다. (고린도후서 3:17-18)
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Living a life of purity is a daily battle, an ongoing war between our flesh and the Spirit of God working to re-create us to be like Christ. Without the power of the Spirit, our willpower eventually fails. But because of the Spirit's power at work within us, our failures in the flesh can be overcome and our progress to our goal of Christlikeness is assured (2 Corinthians 3:17-18).

아버지, 제 육체가 당신의 영의 부르심을 짓눌러 이기도록 내버려 두었던 시간들을 용서해주십시오. 성령의 거룩한 불로 저를 정결하게 하시고 거룩하게 하셔서 제 구원자이신 예수님과 닮아가도록 이끌어 주시니 감사를 드립니다. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Forgive me, Father, for the times when I've willingly let my flesh win out over the call of your Spirit. Thank you for cleansing me with the Spirit's holy fire and drawing me onward to be more like my Savior. Today, I intentionally offer you my heart so that I can be empower and molded to be more like Jesus, in whose name I pray. Amen.
