오늘의 묵상
우리가 산을 볼 때 자신이 참 작게 느껴집니다. 산이 우리보다 훨씬 더 크기 때문이기도 하지만 우리가 이곳에 오기 훨씬 오래 전부터 있었던 것 때문이기도 합니다. 하지만 주님께서는 그 어떤 산보다도 오래 전부터 계셨으며, 그 산들이 다 녹아버려서 완전히 사라지고 난 뒤에도 영원하실 분이십니다. 오직 주님만이 보호와 안정을 주시는 반석이십니다. 우리들의 영원함은 그분 안에서만 찾을 수 있습니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
When we see mountains, we can feel small and insignificant by comparison. We know they are not only much more massive than we are, but also have existed much longer than we have. The Lord, however, was and is and will be present far longer than any mountain (Revelation 1:8; Isaiah 41:4). The Lord is the only true rock of security and stability, our fortress in the middle of life's chaos (2 Samuel 22:2). All the forevers we have in our existence are found in God Almighty alone! So, we join with Isaiah and encourage each other with these words of everlasting truth:
Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord is the Rock Eternal.

영원히 스스로 계신분, 지금 계시고, 예전에 계셨으며, 앞으로도 영원히 계실 분이시여, 지금이나 언제나 나의 하나님, 나의 대속자, 나의 구원자, 나의 목자, 나의 아버지이실 것을 믿습니다. 제 모든 내일을 주님께 드립니다. 나의 주 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Eternal God, you are the great I Am, the one who is and was and will be forever. We trust that you are and always will be our God, our Redeemer, our Savior, our Shepherd, our strong fortress, our mighty rock, and our eternal Father. We commit all our tomorrows to you, knowing you will be present and faithful and gracious to us as your beloved children. In the name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord, we pray. Amen.
