오늘의 묵상
악한 것과 싸우는 능력이 과거의 경험으로부터 나올 때가 있는데, 타인의 격려 혹은 성경진리의 지식의 도움을 받는 경우입니다. 하지만 궁극적으로 우리의 능력은 하나님의 강력한 능력에서부터 나옵니다. 바울은 에베소 교회에 보내는 편지에서 이 하나님의 능력이 예수님을 죽은자 가운데에서 살리셨음을 그리스도인들에게 상기시켰습니다(엡 1:19-20). 그런 능력이 우리 안에 계시므로 하나님께서는 우리가 구하는 것이나 상상하는 것보다 더 큰 것을 행하실 수 있습니다(엡 3:20-21). 가장 중요한 것은, 우리가 영적인 전신갑주를 입고 영적 훈련에 우리 자신을 드릴 때, 하나님께서 그의 능력과 권능으로 우리를 축복하신다는 것입니다. 우리는 하나님의 강력한 능력 안에서 굳세게 될 수 있습니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Some of our strength in fighting evil comes from the spiritual experiences in our past, the encouragement of other believers, and our knowledge of the truth from Scripture. Ultimately, however, our power comes from God's mighty power, the Holy Spirit. Paul uses his letter to the Ephesians to remind Christians that the power of the Holy Spirit, which raised Jesus from the dead, is at work in us now (Ephesians 1:17-20, 3:14-16). Through the Spirit's power at work in us, God can do much more than we can ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20-21). As we put on our spiritual armor and dedicate ourselves to spiritual discipline, God blesses us with his power and his might to live holy lives of courage and grace. God enables us to "be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power"!

오 전능하신 주 하나님, 나의 아빠 Abba 아버지시며 사랑하시는 목자시여, 아버지의 힘과 은혜로 저를 강하게 하셔서 악한 자의 공격들과 유혹들을 막아내도록 도우시옵소서. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
O Lord God Almighty, my Abba Father and loving Shepherd, strengthen me with your might and grace so that I can withstand the attacks and temptations of the evil one. In Jesus' name, I ask for the might of the Holy Spirit to be at work in me for your glory. Amen.
