오늘의 묵상
내 마음의 양식이 되는 정보들을 내가 취사선택하곤 합니다. 하지만 그런 특권과 자유는 곧 책임이기도 합니다. 하나님께서는 나를 축복하기 원하시지만, 하나님의 뜻을 알고 행하는 것을 내 마음이 기뻐하기 전까지는, 그 축복들이 동면상태에 머무르게 됩니다.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Although the world around us screams all sorts of messages to us, we get to choose which sources of information we feed our minds. This privilege and freedom also come with the responsibility to choose what we hear and obey. As followers of Jesus, choosing to listen to God's truth is not just a choice, but a holy commitment. God longs to bless us with his will, revealed in the Scriptures, and with his moral guidance and definitions of what is holy and acceptable in his law. However, that blessing remains dormant until our hearts delight in knowing and doing his will. Let's find our delight in knowing and doing God's will, like the Son and our Savior, Jesus, did throughout his life on earth!
내 기도
경이로우신 창조자 하나님, 이 아름다운 세상을 장식하시고 제 엄마의 자궁 속에서 저를 만드신 것과 똑같이, 주님의 진리를 알고자 하는 열망과 그 진리대로 살아가기 위해 필요한 영감을 제 안에 창조해 주시기를 간구합니다. 삶의 여행을 도우시는 분이 제 안에 계신 성령님이신 줄을 알며, 주님을 매우 기쁘게 해드리기 원하고 제게 축복하신 모든 것들로 인해 주님께 영광 돌리기 원합니다. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
O Wondrous Creator, just as you fashioned such a beautiful world and put me together tenderly in my mother's womb, I also ask that you create a desire in me to know your truth and have the will to live that truth. I know your Holy Spirit is in me to empower and transform me on this journey. I yearn to please you and bless you for all the ways you have blessed me. I choose to delight in your truth! In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
