오늘의 묵상

예수님을 선물해주신 하나님께 대한 바른 응답은 하나밖에 없습니다. 바로 우리의 찬양과 경배입니다. 하나님의 사랑, 은혜, 은총, 축복, 용서, 자비, 구원은 모두 예수님이라는 위대한 선물을 통해 우리에게 주어졌습니다. 그러니 어떻게 하나님을 찬양하지 않을 수 있겠습니까? 그렇게 위대하신 하나님 앞에서 어떻게 우리의 마음이 멈춰있고 목소리도 잠잠할 수 있겠습니까? 적어도 바로 지금은, 우리 마음과 목소리는 그럴 수 없습니다. 모든 무릎이 예수님 앞에 무릎꿇고, 예수님께서 하나님의 영광을 위한 주님이심을 모든 사람의 혀가 고백하게 되기 전까지, 최대한 많은 이들에게 다가가야할 필요가 있음을 기억하도록 합시다!

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

There is only one proper response for God's gift of Jesus — our praise and adoration. Heaven's angels worship with praise and adoration at Jesus' birth. So should we! God's love, grace, favor, blessing, forgiveness, mercy, and salvation come to us through the incredible gift of Jesus' coming to earth. How can we not praise him? How can our hearts remain still and voices remain silent before such an amazing and gracious God? They can't, or at least they shouldn't, at least right now! Let's see our joyous worship of Christ our King as the reminder that we need to reach as many other people as possible so they can join our chorus of praise. One day, every knee will bow and every tongue confesses that Jesus is Lord to the glory of the Father (Philippians 2:10-11)! Those who welcome that day of salvation will do so because they had bowed and confessed Jesus before his glorious return. So, let's say it loudly: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace on those on whom God's favor rests." Amen. Hallelujah!

내 기도

아버지, 아버지는 영광스러우십니다. 아버지의 영광에는 저희들의 입이 떡 벌어집니다. 예수님이라는 선물은 참으로 아름답습니다. 우리에게 예수님을 보내셔서 아버지의 영광과 은혜를 나누어주셨으니 모든 찬양을 올려드립니다. 선물로 주신 바로 그 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.

My Prayer...

Father, you are glorious. Your grace is marvelous. Your gift of Jesus is magnificent. We give you all of our praise for sharing your glory and grace with us by sending Jesus to earth. Now, we offer our prayer to him who intercedes at your right hand,* and we offer you and him our praise. Amen.
