Eu escolho quais as fontes de informação que alimentam minha mente. Mas este privilégio e liberdade são também uma responsabilidade. Deus deseja me abençoar, mas a bênção permanece latente até que meu coração se deleite em conhecer e fazer a vontade dele.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Although the world around us screams all sorts of messages to us, we get to choose which sources of information we feed our minds. This privilege and freedom also come with the responsibility to choose what we hear and obey. As followers of Jesus, choosing to listen to God's truth is not just a choice, but a holy commitment. God longs to bless us with his will, revealed in the Scriptures, and with his moral guidance and definitions of what is holy and acceptable in his law. However, that blessing remains dormant until our hearts delight in knowing and doing his will. Let's find our delight in knowing and doing God's will, like the Son and our Savior, Jesus, did throughout his life on earth!

Criador maravilhoso, do mesmo jeito que o Senhor moldou um mundo tão lindo e me teceu no útero de minha mãe, eu também peço que crie em mim um desejo de conhecer sua verdade e um entendimento em como vivê-la. Eu sei que seu Espírito Santo está em mim para me ajudar nesta jornada, mas eu quero tanto lhe agradar e abençoar, por causa de todas as maneiras através das quais o Senhor tem me abençoado. My Prayer...
O Wondrous Creator, just as you fashioned such a beautiful world and put me together tenderly in my mother's womb, I also ask that you create a desire in me to know your truth and have the will to live that truth. I know your Holy Spirit is in me to empower and transform me on this journey. I yearn to please you and bless you for all the ways you have blessed me. I choose to delight in your truth! In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
