سنہری اصول…سنہری اس لیے کیونکہ یہ خالص، پائدار، اور قدر رکھنے والا ہے۔ تصور کریں کہ ہماری دنیا کتنی مختلف ہو سکتی تھی اگر ہم اس اصول کی مشق کرتے—نہ صرف ہماری" کلیسیائی زندگی" میں بلکہ ہماری زور مرہ زندگی میں……اپنے کُنبے میں،…ہمارے ساتھ کام کرنے والے اور ہمارے ملازمین کے ساتھ،…اُن لوگوں کے ساتھ جن کا ہم انتظام کرتے ہیں،…ان کے ساتھ جو راستے میں ملیں اور ہمسائیوں کے ساتھ جہاں ہم سفر کرتے ہیں،… ان ہوٹل میں کام کرنے والوں کے ساتھ جو ہماری خدمت کرتے ہیں۔ یہ دنیا کتنی شاندار ہوتی اگر اِس سنہری اصول کی مشق کی جاتی۔ میں اپنی دنیا آج ہی سے تبدیل کروں گا! آپ کا کیا خیال ہے؟
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
This verse is called "The Golden Rule"! It's golden because it's genuine, lasting, doable, understandable, and valuable. It's golden because it clearly and beautifully summarizes what God's Law teaches about how we should treat others. Imagine how different our world would be if we all practiced this principle — not just in our "church life" but in our daily life? If we practiced this Gold Rule with our family, our coworkers and employer, and with the people we manage, the folks on the freeway, in the neighborhoods where we drive, and toward the waiters and waitresses and others who serve us... Wow! What a wonderfully different world we would have! So, let's each start changing our world and making it a bit more golden today!
میری دعا
اے عطا کرنے والے خدا، تُو نے مجھے بہت سے قیمتی اور شاندار تحائف سے نوازا ہے۔ میں کبھی بھی تیرا اُس طرح شکریہ ادا نہیں کر سکتا جس کا تُو حق دار ہے۔ پیارے خدا، میں چاہتا ہوں کہ تُو ایک بات جانے، میں خاص طور پر تیرا شکر گزار ہوں کہ تُو نے میرے ساتھ رحمت بھرا رویہ رکھا نہ کہ انصاف کے کٹہرا میں کھڑا کیا اور میری عدالت کی۔ مجھے قوت بخش کہ میں اُن لوگوں کے ساتھ بھی ویسا ہی کروں جو مجھے اس ہفتہ میں ملیں۔ یسوع کے نام میں مانگتا ہوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Generous Father, you have blessed me with so many rich and wonderful gifts. I can never adequately express how much thanks you deserve. One thing I want you to know from my heart, dear Father, is that I especially appreciate the way you have treated me with grace, not with justice or judgment. Empower me through your Holy Spirit to treat others as I would have them treat me and as you have treated me. In Jesus' name, I pray to live this golden way. Amen.
