آج کی آیت پر خیالات
خَوف کی کئی اقسام ہیں۔ اُن میں سے کُچھ جائز ہیں۔ کُچھ تصور کردہ ہیں۔ پھر بھی کُچھ غیر معقول ہیں۔ شُکر ہے، مسیحی ہونے کے ناطے، ہمیں اپنے زندگی کے کسی بھی مُشکل تہوار—قیامت—کے لیے ڈرنا نہیں چاہیئے۔ خُدا کی محبّت ہمیں بچاتی، قوت عطا کرتی، برکات سے نوازتی، ہمارے اندر کام کرتی، اور ہمارے وسیلہ دُوسروں کو چھُوتی ہے۔ سب سے بڑھ کر، اِس محبّت کا تجربہ ہونے کے ناطے، ہم اپنے دِلوں سے خَوف کو نکال سکتے ہیں کیونکہ ہم جانتے ہیں کہ ہم خُدا کے ساتھ کہاں کھڑے ہیں۔ وہ ہمارا مہربان باپ ہے جو ہمیں گھر لے جانا چاہتا ہے۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
There are many kinds of fear. Some fears are legitimate and based on threats to our physical safety. Some are fear based on things we only imagine could happen. Still, other fears are irrational and based on superstitions. Thankfully, as Christians, we don't have to fear the one crucial event in our life — standing before God in judgment. God's love saves us, empowers us, blesses us, works in us, and touches others through us. Once we understand God's overwhelming, sacrificial, and steadfast love, fear of our eternal future is gone. Having experienced God's love has the power to cast fear out of our hearts. We know where we stand with him. He is our loving Father who longs to bring us home!
میری دعا
پاک، شاندار، اور بے مثال خُدا، تُو اپنی طاقت میں بہُت بڑا ہے۔ تُو اندازے سے کہیں پاک ہے۔ تُو لوگوں کے ساتھ برتاؤ میں راست اور منصفانہ ہے۔ سب سے بڑھ کر، پیارے باپ، میں اِس لیے تیرا شُکر ادا کرتا ہُوں تُو نے میرے ساتھ ویسا سلُوک نہیں کِیا جِس کا میرے گُناہ حقدار تھے۔ نہیں، اے خُدا، تیرا میرے ساتھ سلُوک مہربان ہے، تُو اپنے تبدیلی لانے والے اور رہائی بخشنے والے فضل سے مُجھے برکت دے رہا ہے۔ تیری محبّت نے مُجھے تیرے لیے جینے اور اُس دن کا انتظار کرنے کےلیے اعتماد بخشا ہے جب میں تیرے سامنے کھڑا ہُوں گا۔ اُس دِن تک میں تُجھے یسُوع کے مُقدّس نام میں اپنی شُکرگزاری اور حمد پیش کرتاہُوں۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Holy, majestic, and awesome God, you are mighty in your strength. You are holy beyond comparison. You are righteous and fair in your dealings with your people. Most of all, dear Father, you do not deal with me as my sins deserve. You deal with me graciously, blessing me with your redeeming and transforming grace because of your love for me. Knowing your love gives me the confidence to live for you and to await the day I stand before you. Until that day, I offer you my thanks and praise and trust that as the Holy Spirit pours your love into my heart, it will drive out all fear.* In Jesus' holy name, I pray. Amen.
