آج کی آیت پر خیالات
مجھے نسل پرستی اور امتیازسے نفرت ہے۔ لیکن اِن چیزوں میں میری نفرت خُدا کی نفرت سے نہیں ملتی۔ دوسری طرف، ہم آسمان کی حمدو ثنا کا اندازہ کر سکتے ہیں(دیکھیں مکاشفہ ۷ باب ۹ آیت)۔ اگر ہم یسُو ع میں ایک دوسرے کو قبول کر لیں اور نسل، زبان، ثقافت، یا شبہ کو ایک دوسرے کی محبت میں نہ آنے دیں جیسا کہ ہم نجات دہندہ سے پہلے ہی چاہے جاتے ہیں۔
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
I hate racism and exclusivity. But my loathing does not match God's revulsion at these things. On the other hand, we can anticipate the choir of heaven (Revelation 7:9-11) where fellow believers "from every nation, tribe, people and language" will worship Jesus together in glory! But, dear friend in Jesus, we must accept one another in Jesus now, and not let race, language, culture, or suspicion keep us from loving each other as we have already been loved by the Savior. Why do we do this? Because it is right, it is what Jesus does, and it brings glory to God!
میری دعا
مُقدس اور راستباز خُدا، میں دُعا کرتا ہوں کہ تیرا رُوح اور تیرا فضل وہ ہر دیوار گرانے میں ہماری مدد کرے جو تیرے لوگوں کے درمیان نسل یا ثقافت یا استحقاق کی بنیاد پر تقسیم کا باعث بنتی ہے۔ ہمیں سیکھا، مجھے سکھا، کہ تمام لوگوں سے ویسی محبت رکھیں جیسی تُو نے رکھی۔ یسُوع کے نام میں مانگتا ہوں، جو تمام لوگوں کے لیے مُؤا وہ جہاں بھی تھے۔ آمین۔
My Prayer...
Holy and Righteous Father, I pray that we will have the Holy Spirit use your grace to help us tear down any and all walls that divide your people based on race, culture, status, ethnicity, or privilege. Teach us, and please teach me, to love all peoples as you did when you sent Jesus to save the people "from every nation, tribe, people and language." In the name of Jesus, who died for all people everywhere, I pray. Amen.
