تأملات فى آيــة اليوم...
"يا رب، زِدْ إيماني." "يا إلهي العزيز، زِدْ قوتي." "يا أبي، زِدْ حكمتي." كثيراً ما نرفع صلواتنا طالبين أموراً من هذا القبيل؛ ولكن، متى كانت آخر مرة صليتَ فيها طالباً من الله أن يزيد من قدرتك على المحبة، ومن قدرة جماعتك على محبة الآخرين؟ وهل يخطر ببالك شيءٌ أكثر إثارةً وبهجةً لتقوله عن أصدقائك ورفاقك في الإيمان، من أن تقول: "إن المحبة التي يكنّها الجميع لبعضهم البعض في ازدياد، وإن تلك المحبة تجاه من يحيطون بهم ممن لا يعرفون يسوع، في نموٍ وتنامٍ!" دعونا نصلي ونعمل معاً لنجعل هذا البُعد من أبعاد محبتنا حقيقةً واقعةً وملحوظةً في نظر هذا العالم المنكسر والممزق من حولنا!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
"Please increase my faith, O, Lord."
"Please increase my strength, dear God."
"Please increase my wisdom, Father."
We often pray for these kinds of things, but when was the last time you prayed asking God to increase your capacity to love, and your congregation's capacity to love others? Can you think of anything more exciting to say about your friends and fellowship than to say, "The love everyone has for each other is increasing, and that love for those around them who don't know Jesus is growing!" Let's pray and act to make this dimension of our love real and noticeable to the broken world that is fractured all around us!

يا إلهي القدوس، لِتَملأني محبتُك بينما أسعى لأشاركها مع كل من ألتقي بهم يومياً. ولتنمُ هذه المحبة وتزدد، حتى يرى الآخرون ثمارها بوضوح، ويدركوا أنها استجابةٌ مباشرة لتلك المحبة الفياضة التي سكبتها عليّ. إنني أثق بأنه بينما أسعى للنمو في المحبة، فإن الروح القدس سيمنحني القوة لأُحِبَّ بطرقٍ أعظم (رومية 5: 5)، وبأساليب تفوق قدراتي البشرية، لكي يدرك الآخرون أن محبتك أنت هي التي تعمل من خلالي. فبقوة روحك القدوس، أرجوك أن تمنح محبتي القوة لتزداد! باسم يسوع أصلي. آمين.
My Prayer...
Holy God, may your love fill me as I seek to share it with those I meet each day. May this love grow and increase so that others may readily see its benefits and recognize that it is a direct response to the lavish love you have shared with me. I trust that as I seek to grow in love, the Holy Spirit will empower me to love in greater ways (Romans 5:5), ways that are beyond my capacity, so that others recognize it is your love working through me. Through the power of your Spirit, please empower my love to increase! In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
