تأملات فى آيــة اليوم...
ان الظلمة اكثر من رمز، انها اسلوب متغلغل للحياة ورؤية العالم. فالظلمة هى مكان الخداع، و الشر، و الجريمة، و الحيوانات المفترسة، و الخطية والموت. ان نتبع الله معناه ان نحضر إليه قلوبنا وندعه يشكل من الظلمة التى تشكل بلاء لنا فى داخلنا لكى لا نخاف من الظلمة التى فى الخارج. و بهذه الطريقة، يعطينا الله نور، لكنه اكثر من مجرد نور ينير غرفة مظلمة. فهذا النور ينير القلب.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Darkness is more than a symbol; it is a pervasive way of living and viewing the world. Darkness is the place of deception, evil, crime, predators, sin, and death. To follow Jesus means each of us brings our heart to him and lets him cast out the darkness that plagues us inside, so we don't have to fear the darkness outside. In this way, Jesus gives us light that is so much more than just a light that illuminates a dark room. He is the true light, the light of life that the darkness cannot defeat (John 1:4, 9). And this light now shines in us and makes us vessels of grace that share that light with those trapped in darkness (2 Corinthians 4:6-7; Matthew 5:14-16).

الله القدوس الذى يعيش فى فى نور مجيد، امجدك لارسالك يسوع ليلقى بعيدا المخاوف المظلمة التى تطوقنى بسهولة. اصلى لكي تمنحني القوة والشجاعة كى لا أعيش فى النور فقط، بل اري الناس طريقهم للنور. في اسم يسوع اصلى. آمين.
My Prayer...
Holy God, who lives in glorious and irrepressible light, I praise you for sending Jesus to cast away the dark fears that so easily envelop me. I pray for strength and courage to not only live in the light, but to show others the way to Jesus, the light of life. In his name I pray. Amen.
