Gedanken zum Vers des Tages
Jeder wahre Dienst kommt einer Inkarnation gleich – er muss die Verbindung von Mensch zu Mensch, die Berührung von Menschen und die Versorgung von physischen Bedürfnissen beinhalten. Weil Heartlight eine Internet-Dienstleistung ist, wird sie im Cyberspace nie überleben können. Sie muss in das Alltagsleben der Gläubigen hineingetragen werden, die sich verpflichtet haben, die Gnade Jesu mit ihren FRANs (Freunden/Friends, Verwandten/Relatives, Bekannten/Acquaintances, Nachbarn/Neighbors) zu teilen. Genau so, wie Gott Jesus zur rechten Zeit an den rechten Ort sandte, so entsendet er uns, damit wir andere segnen, “nicht nur in Worten, sondern auch in Taten und in der Wahrheit!”
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
All true ministry should be "incarnational" and come to life in real people. God's words should come alive in people-to-people contact, human touch, and genuine physical care. God's greatest Message, his living Word, Immanuel, God with us, did just that. God's incarnate Word made his home with us and lived among us as one of us to fully reveal God to us (John 1:14, 18; Matthew 1:23). If we want to know God, we come to Jesus and see God's love, truth, grace, holiness, faithfulness, righteousness, and kindness shared with people like us.
Mein Gebet
Herrlicher Vater, ich danke dir, dass du mich dorthin gestellt hast, wo ich jetzt bin. Ich weiß, dass ich hier bin, um dein Werk zu tun und den Dienst Jesu fortzusetzen. Hilf mir, die Gelegenheiten zu ergreifen, die du mir heute schenkst, um Menschen im Namen Jesu zu segnen. Im mächtigen Namen meines Herrn bete ich. Amen.
My Prayer...
Glorious Father, thank you for showing yourself to us in Jesus, your living Word. Thank you, Jesus, for teaching and showing us the Father's truth and love while living in human flesh. Holy Spirit, thank you for living in us and being the Anointing that leads us into all truth about Jesus, the living Word.* Thank you, O God, for not just speaking in human words, but also becoming the living Word that gives us life! In the mighty name of your living Word, I pray. Amen.
