Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
Esta seguridad de parte de Dios se da a un pueblo que vivía tiempos difíciles, que fueron creados por Dios para guiarlos al arrepentimiento. Sus tierras estaban desiertas por la sequía, plagas y cosechas pobres. Dios, sin embargo, ahora promete bendecirlos si vuelvan a Él con todo su corazón. El Señor, el Dios del convenio con Israel, hará grandes cosas para llevar a su pueblo a la salvación por su arrepentimiento y su poder. Las tierras se regocijarán y se alegrarán. También su pueblo. También nosotros debemos hacer lo mismo. Por Jesús sabemos que el Señor ha hecho grandes cosas por nosotros.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
This reassurance from God is given to a people facing desperate times, which were brought on by God to lead them to repent. Their land lies desolate and decimated from drought, plagues, and poor harvests. God, however, is now promising to bless them if they will return to him with all their hearts. The Lord, the covenant God of Israel, will do great things to bring his people to deliverance through their repentance and his gracious power. The land can rejoice and be glad. So should his people! So should we! Because of Jesus, we know that "the Lord has done great things" for us!

Amado Padre Celestial, gracias por tu obra increíble en nuestro mundo. Gracias por tu obra increíble en mi pequeño rincón del mundo. Gracias por tu salvación por medio de Jesús. Gracias por la victoria sobre la muerte. Gracias por el derramamiento increíble de tu gracia y misericordia. Gracias por el don de tu Espíritu Santo. Gracias por las escrituras que tu Espíritu inspiró y utiliza para enseñarnos. Gracias por una familia de amigos en tu iglesia. Gracias...en el nombre de Jesús, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your incredible work in our world. Thank you for your incredible work in my little part of that world. Thank you for your deliverance in Jesus. Thank you for the victory over death. Thank you for the incredible outpouring of your grace and mercy. Thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit. Thank you for the Scriptures which your Spirit inspired and uses to teach us. Thank you for a family of friends in your Church. Thank you ... in Jesus' name. Amen.
