Pensamientos sobre el Verso de Hoy
Los enemigos de Jesús habian tratado repetidas veces de hallarlo. Sin embargo, el Evangelio de Juan nos recuerda vez tras vez que nadie era capaz de hallar a Jesús hasta que el mismo se entregara. Jesús sigió al plan de Dios tal como obedecia a la voluntad de su Padre, con gran cuidado. Por eso, podemos estar asegurados que cuando murió Jesús, lo hizo para redimirnos no porque era incapaz de defenderse. La muerte de Jesús es un sacrificio voluntario, un triunfo de obediencia a la voluntad de su Padre sobre su propia voluntad de protegerse. ¡Obedeció y somos salvos! Se ofreció a si mismo como un sacrificio para que pudieramos ser adoptados en la familia del Padre.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
The enemies of Jesus had tried repeatedly to seize him. Yet the Gospel of John reminds us again and again that no one could seize Jesus until he offered himself up to them. Jesus followed God's timetable just as carefully as he obeyed his Father's will. So we can know with assurance that when Jesus died, he did so to redeem us and obey his Father's will, not because he was powerless to defend himself. Jesus' death is a voluntary sacrifice, a triumph of his obedience to his Father's will over his own will for preservation. He obeyed and we are saved! He offered himself as a sacrifice so we could be adopted into the Father's family!

Señor Jesús, te agradezco por honrar a nuestro Padre por ser obediente a el y su plan. Gracias por elegir morir por mí redimiendome de mi pecado. Gracias, Padre Amado, por un demonstración tan increible de amor y misericordia que Te costó tanto. Ayúdame tener un sentido más profundo de mi valor y significancia en Tus ojos por saber cuanto Te costó para redimir y adoptarme. En el nombre santo de Jesús oro, Amen.
My Prayer...
Lord Jesus, I thank you for honoring our Father and being obedient to him and his timing in your life. Thank you for choosing to die for me and redeem me from my sin. Thank you, dear Father, for such an incredible display of love and mercy that cost you so much. Please give me a more profound sense of my worth and significance to you, because I know the great price you paid to redeem and adopt me. In Jesus' holy name I pray. Amen.
