اندیشه ها در مورد آیه امروز...
فروتنی در مورد آینده! آینده تحت اختیار ما نیست. ما گاهی اوقات، فردا را سرسری گرفته ایم؛ اما دیگر آنرا سرسری نخواهیم گرفت. فردایی که شاید نیاید. فردا میتواند اتفاق هولناکی بیفتد. ممکن است همین فردا، تمام داروندارمان را از دست بدهیم. بهنگام رویارویی با این احتمالات نومیدکننده، آیا نکته مثبتی هم وجود دارد که ما به آن بچسبیم؟ مسلماً! ما میدانیم که فردا در دستان خدا است و چون زندگی ما با مسیح درخدا مخفی است(کولسیان ۴:۳-۱)، آینده ما محکم و مطمئن است. شاید آن چیزی نباشد که ما انتظارش را میکشیم. شاید هم طبق نقشه ای که کشیده ایم، پیش نرود. اما، آنگونه خواهد بود که خدا تعیین نموده است و به ما ختم خواهد شد در حالیکه در آرامش، پیروزی و جلال او سهیم میشویم.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Jesus wants us to be humble about our future. We don't control tomorrow, so Jesus reiterated this theme from Proverbs (Matthew 6:31-34). Tomorrow may not come. Something horrible could happen tomorrow. Everything we possess could be gone tomorrow. In the face of these discouraging possibilities, is there anything positive we can hold onto? Absolutely! We know that God holds tomorrow in his hands. We know that because our life is hidden with Christ in God, every tomorrow, and the eternal tomorrow, is secure in him (Colossians 3:1-4). The future may not be what we expect or unfold as we planned, but we can thankfully trust that our God determines every tomorrow, will not abandon us, and will share his comfort, victory, and glory with us as we journey toward his future for us (Romans 8:32-39; Hebrews 13:5-6).

ای پدر، فرداهای من تماماً در دستان تو قرار دارد. من از تو میخواهم که امروز بتوانم برای تو مفید واقع شوم؛ بحد کافی شجاع باشم تا در مورد فردا نگران نباشم، و بحد کافی امین تا در عشق و تعهد خود نسبت بتو سست نشوم. بنام عیسی. آمین.
My Prayer...
Father, my tomorrows all rest in your hands. I ask that I can be useful to you today; courageous enough not to worry about tomorrow, and loyal enough not to waver in my love for you and my commitment to you. I trust every tomorrow to you in Jesus' name, Amen.
