عيسى پيام خداست. او پيامى نبود كه در كتابى گنجانده شده باشد يا در رويا به كسى داده شده باشد و يا بر قله كوهى به ديده بانانى چند آشكار شده باشد. خير، پيام خدا داراى گوشت و خون و استخوان بود. پيام خدا آمد و در ميان ما زيست. او با دشواريهاى ما انسانها روبرو شد، گرد و خاك زمين ما در لابلاى انگشتان پايش نشست، نوميدى هاى ما را حس نمود، با وسوسه هاى ما دست و پنجه نرم كرد، و خون ما از زخمهايش جارى شد. پيام خدا با وجوديكه در اين دنيا زيست، چيزى بيشتر از حقيقت را برايمان به ارمغان آورد؛ او بوسيله فيض الهى، مسبب نجات ما شد.
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Jesus is God's message. It wasn't a message contained in a book or given in a vision. This message from God wasn't revealed on a mountain to only a watchful few. God's most complete message was human flesh, bone, and blood — God's incarnation in human flesh as Jesus of Nazareth. God's message came and lived among us as God's Word — the pre-existent Word. He faced our hardships, got our dirt between his toes, felt our disappointments, struggled with our temptations, suffered our treachery, and bled real blood to redeem us. Yet, living in our world, God's message brought us more than truth; he delivered us from death by his grace and showed us how to live and share his message.
دعای من
خداى قادر مطلق، متشكرم كه در گذشته بوسيله پيامبران خويش با ما سخن گفتى و به مردان متقى الهام بخشيدى تا كتب مقدسه را بما دهند. سپاسگزارم براى اعلام قدرتمند كلام تو امروز، بوسيله كار متقاعد كننده روح القدس. دعايم اين است كه در اين زمينه ها، راستى و حقيقت تو را بشنوم. و مهمتر از همه پدر، تو را حمد ميگويم كه با واضح ترين، عميق ترين، و قابل دسترس ترين پيامت يعني عيسى با من سخن گفتي.بخاطر عيسى است كه من به شناخت محبتت نسبت به خودم دست يافته ام، و ميدانم كه مرا پاك نموده اى و من آسمان را با تو سهيم خواهم بود. از صميم قلب سپاسگزارتم و اميدوارم كه اين قدردانى در شخصيت و كيفيت زندگيم آشكار گردد. در نام عيسى. آمين.
My Prayer...
Almighty God, thank you for speaking in the past through your prophets (Hebrews 1:1-3). Thank you for making the proclamation of your Word powerful today through the convicting work of the Holy Spirit. I pray I will hear your truth through your Word, Jesus! Most of all, Father, I praise you for speaking your clearest, most profound, and most accessible message in Jesus as the consummate Word, the ultimate Word, the true message you want us to see, hear, and know. Because of Jesus, I know you love me, I know you have cleansed me, and I know I will share heaven with you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and may my gratitude be seen in the quality and character displayed in my life. In the name of Jesus — your greatest Message, the Word — I thank you and seek to honor you. Amen.
