आज के वचन पर आत्मचिंतन...
कभी न कभी, हम में से अधिकांश ने नियति पर क्रोधित मुट्ठी तानी है और अंधेरे को कोसा है। ये दोनों ही क्रियाएं समान रूप से अप्रभावी हैं। लेकिन परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व को नकारना पूरी तरह से एक अलग बात है। स्वर्ग को परमेश्वर से वंचित करना वास्तव में स्वयं को अनुग्रह, आशा और भविष्य से वंचित करना है। कितनी मूर्खता है यह भूल जाना कि आश्चर्य, व्यवस्था, विविधता, सुंदरता, शक्ति और स्वरूप से भरी इस सृष्टि के पीछे एक महान सृजनकर्ता है। वह अपनी हस्तकला से कहीं अधिक महान है, और हम उसे अनदेखा करने, नकारने या खारिज करने का साहस नहीं कर सकते; क्योंकि ऐसा करने पर हम स्वयं अपने ही 'ईश्वर' बन जाते हैं, और केवल अपनी ही पूजा करने और हमारे लिए बनाई गई सुंदरता तक सीमित रह जाते हैं। जब हम परमेश्वर के अस्तित्व को नकारते हैं, तो हमारी दुनिया कितनी छोटी और संकुचित हो जाती है (1 कुरिन्थियों 1:18-32)।
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
At one time or another, most of us raised an angry fist to fate and cursed the darkness. Each of these actions is equally ineffective. To deny the existence of God is something else altogether. To rob heaven of God is to rob ourselves of grace, hope, and future. How foolish to forget that behind a Creation of wonder, order, variety, beauty, power, and pattern is the Grand Creator. He is far greater than his handiwork, and we dare not ignore, deny, or dismiss him, for then we become our own gods, left to only worship ourselves and the beauty created for us. How small our world becomes when we do deny there is God (1 Corinthians 1:18-32).
मेरी प्रार्थना...
हे सर्वशक्तिमान प्रभु परमेश्वर, सृजनकर्ता और पालनहार, हम आपको धन्यवाद देते हैं कि आप न केवल महान "मैं जो हूँ सो हूँ" (I AM) के रूप में सदैव विद्यमान हैं (निर्गमन 3:13-15; इब्रानियों 13:5-6), बल्कि आज के इस विशेष दिन भी हममें से प्रत्येक के साथ हैं। कृपया हम अपनी संतानों का उपयोग करें, ताकि हम इस संदेहपूर्ण दुनिया को उस विस्मय, महिमा, ऐश्वर्य, धार्मिकता, अनुग्रह और प्रेम के प्रति जागृत कर सकें जो आप स्वयं हैं! हे परमेश्वर, यीशु के नाम में हम आपकी प्रार्थना और स्तुति करते हैं। आमीन।
My Prayer...
O Lord God Almighty, Creator and Sustainer, we thank you for not only being there always as the great "I AM," (Exodus 3:13-15; Hebrews 13:5-6) but being with each of us this very day. Please use us, your children, to awaken our skeptical world to the wonder, glory, majesty, righteousness, grace, and love that is you! In Jesus name, we pray and praise you, O God. Amen.
