आप परमेश्वर को कैसे देखते हैं? क्या वह आपको निंदा करने का कोई तरीका ढूंढ रहा है? क्या वह बूढ़े आदमी से बाहर है जो वास्तव में नहीं जानता कि यह हमारी आधुनिक दुनिया में कैसा है? क्या वह खुद को केवल प्राणियों की चिंताओं के साथ मिट्टी के लिए पवित्र है और इसे हमारे लिए सब कुछ करने के लिए छोड़ दिया है? नहीं नहीं। नहीं! परमेश्वर ने हमारी दुनिया में प्रवेश करना चुना और मृत्यु दर के पक्ष से इसका अनुभव किया। परमेश्वर ने हमारी दुनिया में प्रवेश करने का फैसला किया, न कि हमें निंदा करने के लिए, या यह, लेकिन इसे और हम में से प्रत्येक को छुड़ाने के लिए। यीशु महान अनुस्मारक है कि परमेश्वर हमें बचाने की इच्छा रखते हैं, हमें निंदा नहीं करते हैं। परमेश्वर के लिए परमेश्वर का शुक्र है! यीशु के लिए परमेश्वर का शुक्र है जो हमारे साथ है।
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
How do you view God?
Is he someone looking for a way to condemn or punish you? Is he an out-of-touch ol' curmudgeon who doesn't really know what it's like in our modern world? Is he too holy to soil himself with the concerns of mere mortals and has left it up to us to work everything out for ourselves, including our salvation?
No. NO. NO!
God chose to enter our world and experience it from the side of mortality (John 1:14-18; Hebrews 2:14-18, 4:14-16) because he loves us and yearns to save us (John 3:16). God chose to enter our world, not to condemn us or it, but to redeem it and each of us. Jesus is the great reminder that God longs to save us, not condemn us. Thank God for God! Thank God for Jesus, who was and is Immanuel, God with us (Matthew 1:23).

My Prayer...
Holy and Heavenly God, thank you for choosing to be with those of us who are contrite and repentant and who long for your presence.* You know we are only mortal, but you love us. You know that we are flawed, but you redeemed us. You know that we are not perfect, but God sent Jesus as the perfect sacrifice to save us. Thank you. Through your Son and my Savior, Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ, I offer you my sincerest gratitude and praise. Amen.
