आज के वचन पर आत्मचिंतन...
क्या खेल के मैदान में टीम चुनते समय आप कभी सबसे आखिर में चुने गए थे? क्या आप कभी ऐसे थे जिसे कोई अपनी टीम में नहीं लेना चाहता था? यह बहुत दुख देता है। तो, क्या यह आश्चर्यजनक नहीं है कि परमेश्वर, ब्रह्मांड के निर्माता ने, दुनिया की शुरुआत से भी पहले (इफिसियों 1:4) हमें यीशु मसीह में चुना? क्या यह अद्भुत नहीं है कि हम युगों-युगों के राजा और उनके पुत्र, यीशु मसीह द्वारा प्रेम किए जाते हैं और उनकी इच्छा है कि हम उनके हों! इतना ही नहीं, हमें दया के कारण नहीं चुना गया, बल्कि परमेश्वर के राज्य के लिए एक फर्क लाने और ऐसे फल उत्पन्न करने के लिए चुना गया है जो हमेशा बने रहेंगे। हमारी फलदायकता सुनिश्चित करने में मदद के लिए, यीशु ने वादा किया कि हम परमेश्वर के राज्य के लिए अपने काम पर उनकी आशीष माँग सकते हैं, और परमेश्वर हमें वह आशीष देगा। यह अविश्वसनीय है!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Were you ever the last one chosen at recess when kids were dividing up teams? Were you ever the one no one wanted on your team? Ouch. That hurts deeply. So, isn't it remarkable that God, the Creator of the universe, chose us in Jesus Christ, even before the beginning of the world (Ephesians 1:4)? Isn't it amazing that we are loved and desired by the King of the Ages and his Son, Jesus Christ! Not only that, we weren't chosen out of pity, but chosen to make a difference for the Kingdom of God by bearing fruit that will endure. To help ensure our fruitfulness, Jesus promised that we can ask for God's blessing on our work for His Kingdom, and God will bless us with it. Incredible!
मेरी प्रार्थना...
हे परमेश्वर, मुझे ऐसा हृदय दे जो आपके कार्य के लिए खुला हो और ऐसी दूरदृष्टि दे जो आपके अनुग्रह के समान विशाल हो। मेरी प्रार्थनाएँ ऐसी हों जो आपकी महिमा करें, आपके राज्य की सीमाओं का विस्तार करें, और उन सीमित चीज़ों से परे पहुँचें जो अक्सर मुझे विचलित करती हैं। मैं आपको अपने माध्यम से आपके राज्य के लिए महान कार्य करने के लिए आमंत्रित करता हूँ, क्योंकि मैं पूरे हृदय से यीशु से जुड़ा रहता हूँ, आपकी महिमा के लिए। यीशु के नाम में, मैं यह प्रार्थना करता हूँ। आमीन।
My Prayer...
Give me a heart, O God, that is open to your work and a vision that is as expansive as your grace. May my prayers ask for things that bring you glory, expand the borders of your kingdom, and reach beyond the limited things that so often distract me. I invite you to do great things for your Kingdom through me as I remain connected wholeheartedly to Jesus, to your glory. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
