परम पावन वह भूल गया चरित्र गुण है जो ईसाई का ईश्वर का प्रतिबिंब है, उसका पवित्र और धर्मी पिता है। एक दिन जब कृपा इतनी आसानी से सस्ता हो जाती है, जब तक हम यीशु के साथ दोस्त बनना चाहते हैं, तब तक पीटर के शब्दों को हमें सम्मान में झटका देना चाहिए — बुराई और शैतानी कीचड़ से अलग रहने के लिए पवित्र प्रतिबद्धता हमारी दुनिया और अपनी इच्छाओं को करने और अपने चरित्र को प्रतिबिंबित करने के लिए हमारे शरीर, दिल और दिमाग की पेशकश करने के लिए।
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Holiness is that oft-forgotten character virtue that is the Christian's reflection of God, their holy and righteous Father. In a day when grace is so easily cheapened, when anything goes as acceptable just as long as we want to be buddies with Jesus, Peter's words should shock us into reverence — the holy commitment to set our lives apart from the evil and satanic sludge that defiles our world and to offer our bodies, hearts, and minds to do his will and reflect his character. As Peter challenges us, "You ought to live holy and godly lives." Why? Because we are looking forward to the day of God's salvation to dawn in all of its fullness for those who are his (2 Peter 3:13, 15).

My Prayer...
Holy and Righteous Father, please teach me to do your will and reflect your character as I offer your grace to others. May the movements of my heart, the thoughts of my mind, and the actions of my life be pleasing to you and reflect your holiness and grace. In Jesus' holy name I pray. Amen.
