첫째로, 이 시편에는 강한 확신이 있습니다: 주님께서 우리안에서 하시는 일을 완성하실 것입니다.(빌 1:6 참조) 둘째로, 여기엔 선포가 있습니다: 주님의 사랑은 영원하며 없어지지 않습니다. (고전 13:8) 마지막으로, 간구가 있습니다: 주님, 당신의 창조물인 저를 잊지 말아주십시오 (시 139:13-16) 이 시는 주님과 함께 걸어갈 때 아름다운 조화를 이루는 시편입니다!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
Notice the powerful beauty of this verse from the Psalm 138:
First is conviction: "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me." (See also Philippians 1:6.)
Second is declaration: "your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever." (See also 1 Corinthians 13:8).
Finally is supplication: O Lord"do not abandon the works of your hand.". (See also Psalms 139:13-16).
What a beautiful balance for our walk with the Lord — conviction, declaration, and supplication.
The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever — do not abandon the works of your hands.
For clarity, please note that the translation above blends the NIV and ESV of Psalm 138:8.
내 기도
하늘 아버지시며 만유의 주님, 당신의 뜻과 제게 향하신 목표를 다 이루실 것이라는 것을 확신합니다. 수세기에 걸쳐 당신께서 매일 그들을 사랑하시고 그들 안에서 일하셨던 것을 성경에서 보듯이, 제가 이 땅에서 자취를 감춘 후에도 당신의 사랑은 여전할 것이라는 것을 압니다. 하지만 사랑하는 주님, 제가 고군분투하고 있사오니 당신의 은혜와 능력으로 제 삶에 간섭하여 주시길 간구합니다. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
Heavenly Father, the Lord of all, I am confident that you will accomplish your will and purpose in me. Seeing how you loved and worked through the centuries through your people, I know your love will endure long past my time on earth. However, dear Lord, I do face some struggles and difficulties in my time, so I ask you to please intervene with your grace and power in my life. Please fulfill your purpose for me. And please, do not abandon me, the work of your hands. In Jesus' name, I confidently pray. Amen.
