오늘의 묵상
예수님께서는 요한복음 14장에서 우리를 위한 장소를 하늘에 예비하러 돌아가신다고 약속하셨습니다. 하지만, 하늘이 하나님의 임재 아래 있기까지 기다릴 필요가 없다는 것을 알려주기 원하십니다. 우리가 하나님을 사랑하고 그 말씀에 순종할때, 하나님께서는 우리에게 오셔서 우리 안에 거주하십니다. 얼마나 놀랍고 은혜로운 묵상인가요: 온 우주의 창조자이시며 이스라엘의 거룩하신 분께서 내 안에 살고 계신다니요!
Thoughts on Today's Verse...
This chapter, John 14, begins with Jesus' promise to return to heaven and prepare a place for us with God (John 14:1-3). In our verse, however, the Lord wants us to know that we don't have to wait until heaven to be in the presence of God or have his presence in us. As we love God and obey Jesus' teaching, God comes and makes his home with us. What a fantastic and gracious promise! God, the Creator of the Universe, the Holy One of Israel, comes and makes his home in each of us.

오 하나님, 당신께서 내 안에 거주하시는 것으로 인하여 당신께 감사드리고 찬송을 드립니다. 제가 하는 모든 일, 모든 생각과 모든 말 속에서 하나님 임재의 거룩함과 은혜를 반영하기를 원합니다. 예수님 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
My Prayer...
I thank and praise you for your abiding presence within me, O God. May my life reflect the holiness and grace of your presence in all that I think, say, and do. My heart shouts for joy as you come to me, and I say to you, dear Father, "Welcome to your home in me!" In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
